NOTE: The second given name was incorrectly transcribed on the Embarkation Roll as HOWE. The correct name is HORNE attested in both the official Service Record and the Australian War Memorial Roll of Honour (details completed by his Father). The name on this Memorial has been amended to accord with the Service Record adn theroll of Honour. Correction undertaken by the RSL Virtual War Memorial Chief Moderator, April 2017.
