Son of Sigmund Israel Villiers and Sarah Ann Lester formerly Villiers nee Deakes of Bourke Street, Darlinghurst, NSW. Brother of Leo Viliers who returned to Australia on 25 December 1918 having served with the 1st Motor Transport Company

Commenced return to Australia on 14 December 1918 aboard HT Burma disembarking on 29 January 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney.

Medals: 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal

During 1919c Albert married Maisie A. De Marley in Woollahra, NSW
