Collins and Archdeacon Pike presided. The tables were amply furnished with delicacies while coloured bunting and flags added a ‘gay appearance’ to the hall. Toasts to the King, Our Guests, The Ladies and the Press were honoured and musical items were contributed by Mr C.F. Raper and Miss Lola Cameron. At the conclusion of the supper the gathering adjourned to the dancing floor where a very enjoyable evening was concluded.
