George was born at Cobrico and attended school here. George received several awards for good behaviour & attendance while at school along with his sister Emma & brother Luke.
Private George Robartson visited Cobrico in June 1919, after an abscence of 23 years. He was on leave from Caulfield Military Hospital. While at Cobrico, he visited the school, and gave the boys a football.
George purchased property at Scotts Creek & lived there for several years in a humpy type building he erected. This property was later purchased by his nephew Boyce Wilson (my father) who had helped develop it after his return from WW2.
He is listed on the Cobrico State School Honor Roll.
