Born and educated at Croydon.
Son of the late Eugene DUFFY and Elizabeth DUFFY of Cloncurry.
Englisted from Cloncurry 25th November 1914, went to camp in Brisbane, 12 December 1915. Sailed 10 July 1916 for Engand, and went to Salisbury Plain to complete training. Went to France Feb 2nd 1917 into line at Armentieres, through fighting, an dkilled in action whilst sleeping behind lines at Messines June 26th 1917.
