Son of Robert Buck Hayhoe and Margaret Hayhoe nee Davidson of Penshurst, Victoria. Brother of Stephen Hayhoe who died of wounds while serving with the 11th Field Artillery Brigade and is buried in the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery. Plot XX11, Row B, Grave 18
