Biography

Frederick William Lewis joined the 1st AIF on 08 Dec 1915. He was sent to France where he joined the 25th Battalion as a reinforcement on the 3rd Aug 1916, just two days before the Battle of Pozieres.

Frederick William Lewis was killed in action there on the 5th Aug 1916. He is remembered on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial.
