Geneva Chaplain
After an unbelievable experience following the outbreak of the war the Rev P S Moore for four years chaplain to the Church of England in Geneva has returned to Australia. Mr Moore who was trained at Moore College, Sydney was Vicar in charge of Ballarat Cathedral for 10 years, and then joined the Colonial and Continental Church Society in England. While there he received his appointment to Geneva. Upon the outbreak of the war he was forced to leave. Cleverly eluding the Germans he travelled through Spain to Lisbon, the only port available to him, and obtained a passage to New York thence to San Francisco. The early part of the trip involved many hardships which were only overcome by courage and watchfulness. Mr. Moore intends to take up work in Australia.
