Add my storyBiography contributed by Beverley Stocker
We are told that Bill spent a great deal of time dodging bombs and bullets whilst carrying wounded soldiers through the trenches to the medical stations. He didn't say a great deal to his family about his time in France but his descendants remember how dangerous he said it was.
There is a memorial to him at Guildford WA. He lived in Cowell for a very long time and is buried at the Cowell Cemetery. He is remembered with great fondness by his Kaden descendants and the community.
