The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published in 2017 - refer to pages 147 & 262. Prior to the war he was a farmer of Mount Hooghly Vic. He enlisted 29 August 1916. He served with 6th Infantry Battalion and was awarded the Military Medal during that service. He was killed in action 9 August 1918. Lest We Forget.
