Biography

Archie Gemmell Sowter was the sone of William Hickson Sowter and Jane Beattie Gemmell. His father was a successful Chemist at Kadina and his sister Charlotte Ruby Sowter took over from her father at Kadina. He was 42 years when he died and did not marry.
