Logan Village Museum
Robert was born in Brisbane 23rd September 1888. Whilst in England he married Ellen nee Byard on the 25th January 1919 in the Parish Church Bonsal Derby England. Whilst Robert returned to Australia August 1919 it is not known when Ellen came here. They are both buried in the Beaudesert Cemetery.
Robert with his Brother William are both on the Logan Village Museum honour roll because their families are Pioneers of the District.
They are both listed in the book by David Mason "The Soldiers & Nurses of the Beaudesert District in WW1 (1914-1919)
