Lance John Edwards

Lance was the third child of Mary Ann (nee Moore) and John Edwards and was born in 1894. The family moved around quite a bit during Lance's childhood because of the nature of his father's work, but much of his formative years were spent in Solomontown, Port Pirie, South Australia. He became a Clerk working for Farmers' Union in Port Pirie before his enlistment in 1916. In 1923 he married Meta Mathilde Sophia Lange and they lived most of their married life in Victoria where they raised three children. He died in 1970.
