Son of William Robert and Emily Sarah Alford of Noyean, Woodstock, NSW

5 October 1917 - at Ypres, he was recommended for the Military Medal but it was not awarded

Parents received non of his personal effects due to the sinking of S.S. Barunga on which they were being returned
