Goulburn and the War.
PRIVATE CLIFFORD TICKNER KILLED.
On Tuesday the sad news reached Mr. R. E. Tickner, of Tallong, that his son Clifford, who was only 19 years of age, had been killed. He left Australia in April of 1916, and landed in Egypt, and in June of last year was transferred to France.
TICKNER - In loving memory of our dear son and brother, Ptd. Clifford Tickner, killed in action, September 27, 1917, Polygon Wood, aged 20 years.
We loved him in life.
We'll ne'er forget him in death
