"...913 Private Rowland Edward Driscoll, 23rd Battalion. A clerk from St Kilda, Vic prior to enlistment, Pte Driscoll enlisted embarked with C Company from Melbourne on HMAT Euripides on 10 May 1915. He was killed in action on 21 October 1915 at Gallipoli, aged 23, and was originally interred in the Brown's Dip South Cemetery, Anzac. Following the Armistice his remains were exhumed and re-interred in the Lone Pine Cemetery, Gallipoli Peninsula, Turkey..." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
