Son of Walter MORGAN and Sarah nee STAPLES, Crystal Street, South Broken Hill, NSW
Mr. and Mrs. W. Morgan of Crystal street, have been informed by the military authroities that their won, Private Walter Morgan, was reported ot have died of wounds in France on October 15. He was about 34 years of age. He enlisted over 12 months ago in Adelaide, and went straight from Australia to France. Prior to enlisting he had been working with a South Australian survey party on the River Murray. He was a single man, his mother, father, one brother and five sisters survive.
