Full name Frederick Vagg but served as Fred Vagg.
Son of George John Vagg and Florence Helen Agnes Vagg nee Dow of Cobden, Victoria. Brother of Arthur Reginald Vagg who returned to Australia on 8 June 1919 having served with the 3rd Field Artillery Brigade.
Commenced return to Australia on 24 August 1918 aboard HT Medic disembarking on 11 October 1918
