"...3650 Private Thomas Edwards, 32nd Battalion. A driver from Broken Hill, New South Wales, prior to enlistment, he embarked with the 8th Reinforcements, from Adelaide on 12 August 1916 aboard HMAT Ballarat (A70) for Devonport, England. Following training in England he proceeded to France and joined his battalion on the Western Front near Longueville, France, on 6 March 1917. Pte O’Donnell was wounded in action near corbie, France, on 27 April 1918 and was evacuated to the 8th Australian Field Ambulance where he died of these wounds later that day.
