Aaron William FERRELL was born in Newhaven, Sussex in December quarter 1859 His birth was registered in Lewes, Sussex His father was Frederick FERRELL and mother Jane WILSON Aaron joined up 17.8.1915 - 25th Australian Infantry Battalion Unit embarked from Brisbane on HMAT Armadale on 18.9.1915 He stated he was 44 when in fact he was 56 at the time He had previously served for 20 years in the Royal Navy Reserve Aaron married in December quarter 1886 in Bethnel Green UK to Annie Lavinia WARNE She died in 1930 in Queensland father Henry WARNE mother Ann MOWLAM He was discharged in Brisbane 31.5.1916 Aaron died 8.3.1919 buried Tewantin Cemetery
