Biography

Percy Mingo DWYER was born on 27th December, 1879 in Parramatta, Sydney NSW

His parents were Henry DWYER and Susannah MINGO

Percy married Margaret Mary ALLMARK (date unknown ) and had four children Mervyn, Dorothy, Reginald & Albert - after his death Margaret remarried to a Thomas COWELL in 1924

He enlisted in June 1915 with the Australian Army - 1st Battalion, 9th Reinforcements - Unit embarked from Sydney on board HMAT Argyllshire on 30th Sept. 1915

He was Killed in Action between 22-25th July, 1916 - No known grave

Percy is commemorated at the Australian National Memorial, Villers Bretonneux, France
