Stuart Lawrence McCONACHY was born in Henty, Victoria in 1887

His parents were William James McCONACHY & Betsy (Bessie) MILLER

He was Killed in Action at Houplines near Armentieres in France on 28th January, 1917

His headstone reads: 

 

                          'IN MEMORY OF MY DEARLY LOVED SON

                          HE DIED AS HE LIVED - MANLY & BRAVE'
