Son of Cornellius Vallentine and Emily Vallentine nee Johnstone of Semaphore, SA.
Prior to enlistment he was a member of the Norseman Rifle Club.
Next of kin given as his sister Elivine Eliza Russell, Norseman, WA.
Commenced return to Australia on 23 September 1918 aboard HT Runic disembarking on 17 November 1918.
