17th Bn.Australian Infantry, A.I.F. He was 25.
His brother, Private Richard Johnson, Service Number 4454, aged 22, fell whilst serving with the 19th Bn.Australian Infantry, A.I.F.
They were sons of George and Charlotte Johnson, of "Wavertree," England Avenue, Marrickville, New South Wales.
