David Harper ANTON was born in Sale, Victoria in 1891

His parents were David ANTON & Flora Elizabeth HARPER

He enlisted in Sale on 22nd March, 1916 and embarked with the 37th Infantry Battalion, B Company on 3rd June, 1916 from Melbourne on the HMAT Persic

He returned to Australia on 4th May, 1917 with rheumatic problems & pleurisy and was discharged on 24th September, 1917

David died in Bairnsdale, Victoria in 1921 & is buried in the Bairnsdale General Cemetery, Presbyterian Section
