John Theodore Matthews

John was the son of James Matthews and Ann Matthews . He was born at Emmaville and attended Emmaville school . At the age of 20 he was working as a miner .He enlisted 29th August 1915 .His rank was ‘Private’ in the 2nd Battallion 12th reinforcement .He was killed in action and is burried at Bologne Eastern Cemetery France
