Albert Ernest was born on 30 December 1889 at No. 286 Amess Street, North Carlton, Victoria, Australia. The son of Henrietta & George Elsworth. He studied to be a draughtsman which he accomplished.He married Zoe Madeline Abbott on 26 April 1913 in the Independent Church in Prahran, Victoria, Australia it was officiated by Reverend Harry Sewell Joyce. They had a son together. He volunteered to serve overseas with the Australian Imperial Force (AIF) whilst Albert was fighting overseas, unfortunately their son died of a short illness he was only 4 years old, which may have lead to their marriage break down and divorce in 1920.
Albert met and later married Ellen Agnes Attenborough on 30 January 1922 in Victoria, Australia,
where they had two children together in their marriage.
Albert passed away on 28 May 1985 in Brighton, Victoria, Australia, at the age of 95.
