The death of Henry Salisbury Ryan, fourth son of Mrs. James Ryan and the late James Ryan, occurred on Sunclay, May 4 at his farm at Preston, the deceased being found dead in bed by his partner (Mr. McGill). A post mortem examination revealed that death was due to heart failure. The deceased was a member of the A.I.F., having served with the 5th Light Horse and enlisted from Proserpine. On his return from the war he became a sugar-boiler and was employed, at South Johnstone and Babinda mills for about seven years.
