Husband of Margaret Ruth (Nee Cowie)
Father of Lillian, Margaret, Victor, Jean and Ilma.
He served with A.I.F 23rd battalion
Douglas returned from active service and was discharged on 27 Dec 1919
He re-enlisted 13 June 1940 and served with 2 A.I.F. Kit Store
Douglas died 10 Sept 1970 aged 82 years
