Life of James Hoyle Kenyon
James Hoyle Kenyon, was the son of John Kenyon and Sarah Kenyon nee Barlow.
James was born in Ballarat Victoria ABT 1863.
James married Emily Marks in 1888 and they went on to have a large family.
They resided in Western Australia for some years.
James and Emily had a son named Thomas William Hoyle Kenyon who was sadly killed in action 6 Aug 1915 • Lone Pine, Gallipoli, Turkey.
There was also another son that went to war James Ernest Kenyon served in the military in 1914 in Melbourne, Victoria, when he was 25 years old.
James and Emily had 2 Grandsons that fought in WW2 who sadly were executed along with other Allied POWs in the Laha massacres.
James Hoyle Kenyon was my 3rd Great Uncle.
