Dived of Troopship to save young woman
Mr H. A. Procter was the gallant chaplain, who recently assisted to rescue a young woman at Port Melbourne, when she was accidentally pushed over the pier by the crowd, as a troop ship was leaving. Mr Procter was on the vessel as a chaplain for the Churches of Christ, and Is going to the front. He dived from the second deck, and helped the young woman's lover and another soldier to rescue her. He is the preacher at the Coppin street Church of Christ, North Richmond.
