Son of Harry Nevill, St Arnaud, Victoria
Here us a wonderful little video produced by Neville Goldsmith of Melbourne - To "Annie from Willie" (www.youtube.com) about his uncle, Private William Nevill, 39th Battalion, Australian Imperial Force, World War 1. It is based on a letter that Willie sent to his younger sister Annie. Nevill was born at St Arnaud, Victoria, enlisted in the 39th in WW1. He was killed in action on 10th September 1918, and buried at Cerisy-Gailly French National Cemetery, Cerisy, Picardie, France. Rest In Peace Willie - your work is done. Factis Non Verbis - Deeds Not Words (39th Battalion motto)
