"THE LATE PRIVATE H. CASTON.
Advice has been received that Private H. Caston was killed in action in France on November 23. He was a native of Adelaide, enlisted on January 11, 1915, and sailed for Egypt on May 31 of the same year with the 27th Battalion. A widow and two young children, who live at 115, Franklin-street, Adelaide, are left. He was 30 years of age on November 7 last. Private Caston was of a kind and loving disposition." - from the Adelaide Chronicle 30 Dec 1916 (nla.gov.au)
