LCpl Smith’s name has been inscribed on the Lambton Park Citizens' Memorial Gates (photos, unveiled on the 12th April 1919), Lambton/New Lambton Municipal District Roll of Honor and the Lambton Lodge Independent Order of Oddfellows Roll of Honour. Name not inscribed on the Newcastle Lodge Harmony U.G.L. No-15 Roll of Honour of which he was a member.

Henry’s headstone inscription proudly displays his service with the 35th Battalion, 1st A.I.F., and I have placed poppies to honour his duty for God, King and Country.
