Reginald Robert Bell was awarded a military medal by the King in 1918 ( See photo ) Reginald Robert Bell joined the Australian Imperial Force on the 29th of April 1916 in miles Queensland on the 21 aug 1916 he embarked Brisbane Australia and arrived in Plymouth England on the 10 Jan 2017 on the 9 may 2017 Reginald embarked to France he suffered many wounds during the war including gassing from Ordnance shells. Reginald married Marguerite Kirby in England I believe she may have been a nurse from a hospital on the 9 Nov 1918. When he went back to London suffered a gassing from Ordnance shells in 9 June 1918 Reginald returned to Australia on the 11 august 1919 with his wife Marguerite Bell ”Nee” Kirby and he was discharged on the 3 November 1919 on medical grounds
