Son of Samuel Venn and Emma Venn of Waverley, Sydney, NSW. Brother of Wrenville Rudder Venn who returned to Australia on 24 Novmeber 1919 having served with the 1st Casualty Clearing Station.
Husband of Mary Ann Venn nee Logan of 'Wiston', Palace Street, Ashfield, NSW. Aubrey and Mary married during 1915c in Burwood, NSW
Commenced return to Australia on 16 March 1919 aboard HT Euripides disembarking on 20 April 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney
