"Cpl. L. J. Felstead has been awarded the Military Medal for bravery in France. His father, Mr. J. Felstead, who is at present in Victoria, is well known in Masonic circles in Adelaide. Cpl. Felstead's wife and two children reside at Glenelg." - from the Adelaide Register 26 Sep 1916 (nla.gov.au)
