DEATH OF EX-SOLDIER.
PENRITH, Saturday.
Mr. George Taylor, who died at Campsie, at the age of 36 years, was a son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Taylor, of Penrith. He enlisted at the outbreak of the Great War, and vvas reported killed in action In June, 1015, when a united memorial service was held in connection with his supposed death. About a week afterwards his parents were notified of the error, and informed that he had been seriously wounded in the head. He was invalided home, and later re-enllsted." After further service he was wounded in the back and legs and again invalided home. The injury to his head was the, ultimate cause of death. Deceased leaves a wife and three sons.
