DEAR SON OF J. & E. BICKELL OF LINDFIELD, N.S.W "THY WILL BE DONE"
BICKELL.—In sad but loving memory of our dearly loved eldest son and brother, Pte. Stanley Joseph Bickell, killed in action in France July 1, 1916, aged 20 years and 11 months. An Anzac.
Your death has saddened our hearts, dear Stan,
Though noble was your call,
You fought and died for Australia,
The noblest death of all.
Inserted by his loving father and mother, Joseph and E. Bickell, and brothers, W. G. Bickell, late 18th Battalion, A.I.F., and Charlie and Dave, Devonia, Gordon-road, Lindfield.
