Commenced return to Autralia on 10 June 1919 aboard HT Port Lyttleton disembarking on 5 August 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Adelaide

On 19 May 1920 Patrick married Ellen McKeen in the St. Anacletus Church, Peterborough, SA

Post war Patrick was employed with the Railways
