CLARENDON.
OBITUARY
Residents of Clarendon district and elsewhere will regret to learn of the death of Mr John Thomas Cantlon. The deceased was an old resident of the district; having resided here for
over 50 years, and was very highly respected by all who knew him. He served in the great war, and died in the Caulfield Hospital on Wednesday last, the 2nd inst.
DEATHS.
CANTLON.—On the 2nd April 1924, at the Military Hospital, Caulfield, John Thomas Cantlon, late A.I.F., the dearly beloved oldest son of the late Peter and Catherine Cantlon, of Clarendon; loving brother of Mrs W. Berry, Mrs T. Walsh, and David (W.A.), Margaret, William, Charlie (N.Z.), Arthur, Joseph, James, and the late Mary Cantlon. Aged 64 years.
May his soul rest in peace.
FUNERAL NOTICES.
CANTLON.— The friends of the late Mr John Thomas Cantlon, late A.1.F., are respectfully notified that his remains, will be interred in the Clarendon Cemetery, leaving the “Sanctuary of Repose (Chapelle Ardente) of Chas. P. Frilay, 48 Blyth street, Brunswick, this,day (Friday, the 4th April, 1924), at 9 o’clock a.m., arriving at the cemetery at or about 3 o’clock p.m. CHAS. P. FRILAY, L.T.D., Head Office, 48 Blyth street, Brunswick; also at South Melbourne and Moonee Ponds. (’Phone, Brunswick, 446).
CANTLON.— The friends of the late Thomas John Cantlon, of Clarendon, are respectfully invited to follow his remains to the place of interment, the Clarendon Cemetery. The funeral cortege will arrive from Melbourne by motor at 3 p.m. this day, Friday.
