Frank Pearce Yarrington HUET was born in West Maitland on 16th March, 1885
His parents were Henry Frederick & Edith HUET
His first marriage was to Phyllis RANCLAUD in Sydney in 1906 (divorced) and he remarried in Sydney in 1911 to Grace HOOD
He enlisted in Sydney on 23rd April, 1917 and embarked with the 1st Infantry Battalion, 25th reinforcements from Sydney on the HMAT Marathon on 10th May, 1917
Frank died from Broncho pneumonia in England on 3rd February, 1919

Died on this date – 3rd February…… Frank Pearce Yarrington Huet was born in West Maitland, New South Wales in 1885.
A marriage was registered in Sydney, NSW in 1906 between Frank P. Y. Huet & Phyllis Ranclaud. They divorced in 1910.
A marriage was registered in Sydney, NSW in 1911 between Frank P. Yarrington-Huet & Grace Hood. Births were registered in the district of Mosman in 1911 for Rhonda Y. Huet & in 1913 Joan Y. Huet.
Frank Pearce Yarrington Huet enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force (A.I.F.) on 23rd April, 1917 as a 30 year old, married, Dental Surgeon from Sydney, NSW.
On 10th May, 1917 Private Frank Pearce Yarrington Huet, Service number 7614, embarked from Sydney on HMAT Marathon (A74) & disembarked at Devonport, England on 20th July, 1917. He was promoted to Acting Corporal on 22nd May, 1917 for the duration of the voyage only & reverted back to the rank of Private on 20th July, 1917.
Reinforcements were only given basic training in Australia. Training was completed in training units in England. Some of these were located in the Salisbury Plain & surrounding areas in the county of Wiltshire.
He was marched in to 1st Training Battalion at Durrington, Wiltshire from Australia on 20th July, 1917.
Private Frank Pearce Yarrington Huet was promoted to Acting Lance Corporal on 18th December, 1917 & Acting Corporal on 19th December, 1917. He was On Command at No. 3 School of Instruction at Candahar Barracks at Tidworth, Wiltshire from 31st December, 1917 to 9th February, 1918. He was marched in to 1st Training Battalion at Durrington, Wiltshire on 18th February, 1918.
On 1st March, 1918 Acting Corporal Frank Pearce Yarrington Huet was appointed Lieutenant of Dental Corps.
Lieutenant Frank Pearce Yarrington Huet was attached to Pioneer Training Battalion for duty with 63rd Dental Unit on 20th March, 1918.
He was admitted to the 1st Australian General Hospital at Sutton Veny, Wiltshire on 2nd February, 1919, dangerously ill.
Lieutenant Frank Pearce Yarrington Huet died at 5 p.m. on 3rd February, 1919 at the 1st Australian General Hospital, Sutton Veny of Broncho Pneumonia.
He was buried in St. John the Evangelist Churchyard, Sutton Veny, Wiltshire, England where 140 other WW1 Australian War Graves & 2 Australian Nurses are laid to rest.
