His younger brother, 4168 Pte. William Lloyd 25th Battalion AIF, later died of wounds 6 October 1917, age 20.
They were the only two sons of Thomas and Rosanna Lloyd, (nee Dolan), of Lanigan St., Rockhampton, Queensland. Rosanna was a widower at the time and received both of her sons’ effects and medals.
