Son of Mrs Bridget White, Galah Street, Longreach, Queensland
Following a long illness, William Ernest White, 41, eldest son of Mr. W. C. White and the late Mrs. White, of Longreach. died at the Longreach Hospital. He was born at Croydon and was a saddler by trade. Deceased was a member of the A.I.P., and officials and members of the Longreach sub-branch. r.s. S. I.L.A. attended the funeral. For the last two years Mr. White was employed on Bimerah station, but was better known in Alpha, where he conducted a saddler's business, and was also employed on Serviton for many years.
