Tottenham Cross CARDEW was born in Ipswich, Queensland on 9th July, 1889

His parents were Francis Tottenham Lucas CARDEW & Ruth Mary CROSS

He enlisted in Brisbane on 19th September, 1916 & embarked from Melbourne on 22hd December, 1916 on the HMAT Persic

He died from Broncho pneumonia in France on 25th October, 1918 and is buried in the Abbeville Communal Cemetery Extension
