Son of Robert Edward & Keziah HODGENS of 10 Clarendon Street, Coburg, Vic.

Slightly wounded at Ypres 06 October 1917.  After convalescence was wounded again at end of March 1918, being blind for a few months.  Spent some time in vaiours hospitals in England and was packed-up read to return to the Front when the Armistice was declared.  Length of service 1236 days.
