Son of Francis Davis and May (Mary) (nee Terry) Davis of Wallaroo, SA; brother of Francis George Davis who returned to Australia in January 1919 having served with the 10th Battalion, Ella Davis, Roger Kimberley Davis, May Davis, Muriel Caroline Mary Davis, Hazel Davis and Gladys Elam Davis
