Son of Francis Davis and May (Mary) (nee Terry) Davis of Wallaroo, SA; brother of Francis George Davis who returned to Australia in January 1919 having served with the 10th Battalion,  Ella Davis, Roger Kimberley Davis, May Davis, Muriel Caroline Mary Davis, Hazel Davis and Gladys Elam Davis

Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal

Also served in the Senior Cadets and Citizen Forces

From the Roll of Honour Circular - Was a member of the Town Band. Also a member of the Methodist Church Choir and Sunday School and was educating himself for the Ministry at time of enlistment. Was also a member of the J.O. Richabires." Details from Father.
