Son of Angus and Alice Maud Mary Robertson of Victoria' Next of kin given as his brother Angus Robertson of 'The Falls', Narracan, Gippsland, Victoria. Also brother of Eneas McIntosh Robertson, Muriel Alice Robertson and Viola M. Robertson

ROBERTSON, Duncan Markham was born in Loch Alvie, Scotland, 1877. He was the son of Angus and Alice Maud Mary Robertson Of Victoria' Next of Kin given as his brother Angus Robertson of 'The Falls', Narracan, Gippsland, Victoria. Also brother of Eneas Mclntosh Robertson, Muriel Alice Roberton and Viola M. Roberton.
He moved to Australia and was raised there, his home town was Millicent, Wattle Range, South Australia. Duncan was single and his religion was presbyterian. At age 37, he enlisted as a laborer in the war in 1914, 25 August. He enlisted at Morphettville, SA. He died of wounds on the 31st of May 1915 in Egypt, less than a year after he registered. His memorial is at Chatby War Memorial Cemetery (ROw M, Grave No. 96).
