DEATH;
HAMLYN.-On the 29th November, at Durban, died of measles and pneumonia, Ptc. Rovce Hamlyn, 32nd Battalion, eldest beloved son of M. and A. Hamlyn, Second Valley, aged 21 years.

News has been received that Private J R. Hamlyn died from measles and pneumonia at Durban while on the way to the front Private Hamlyn, who was 27 years of age, was much respected, and was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Hamlyn, of Second Valley

News has been received of the death from sickness, at Durban, South Africa, of
Private Royce Hamlyn. He was the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hamlyn, of Second Valley. Private Hamlyn was born on April 12. 1895, and was educated at the State school at Second Valley. He entered the employ of Mr. A. J. Grundy, a resident of the district, some years ago, and left his position to enlist on September 11. Private Hamlyn was greatly respected by his many friends.

"THE LATE PRIVATE R. HAMLYN
News has been received of the death from sickness, at Durban, South Africa, of Private Royce Hamlyn. He was the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hamlyn, of Second Valley. Private Hamlyn was born on April 12, 1895, and was educated at the State school at Second Valley. He entered the employ of Mr. A. J. Grundy, a resident of the district, some years ago, and left his position to enlist on September 11.
