10 Oct 1919: Honoured Military Medal, During the operations of 2Sep1918 East of Mont St Quentin this soldier made two runs from an isolated post back to Bn HQ over open ground, under intense machine gunfire and sniping, this enable a defensive flank to be thrown in, and the advanced position to be maintained. This was a dangerous feat and only a very brave man would have attempted it.
